ABN6502 SBC R2 Deluxe - SMD Assembled only

 This is the Deluxe PCB for the ABNielsen.com 6502 SBC R2 with ENIG (Gold) surface finish. 

ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold) is a popular PCB surface finish that offers several benefits. It provides excellent flatness, making it ideal for fine-pitch components and high-density interconnects. ENIG is highly resistant to oxidation, ensuring a long shelf life and reliable solderability over time. The gold layer offers superior electrical conductivity, essential for sensitive applications. Additionally, ENIG is lead-free and RoHS-compliant, supporting environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. Its durability and resistance to wear make it suitable for harsh environments, while its compatibility with various solder types enhances its versatility in electronic assembly.

This version comes with USB-C connector, SOT23-5 regulator, 16MHz Crystal, LEDs and a ton of passives presoldered for super quick assembly.
Just solder in sockets, plug in IC's and you're ready to go. 

The IC's you need are (the spirit is to use refurbished IC's but I sometimes have a small stock of used ICs available):

• 6502A or R65C02 (WDC is not hardware compatible so needs a jumper pad cut)
  MOS 6502A (used, tested)
• 6522 VIA 
• W27C512 or M27C512 for the character ROM
• SST39SF010 / SST39SF020 / 040 Flash ROM as code ROM (you can also use a w27c512 with a jumper)
• HM62256 32K SRAM
• 2 x 74HC590 8 bit counters
• 2 x 74HC00 Quad NAND Gates
• 1 x 74HC04 Hex Inverter
• 1x 74HC14 Hex Inverter with Schmitt Trigger
• 1 x 74HC109 JK Flip Flop
• 1 x 74HC165 PISO Shift Register
• 2 x 74HC245 Buffers/Transceivers
• 1 x 74HC273 Register
• 1 x 74HC32 Quad OR gate
• 1 x 74HC74 Flip Flop
• 1 x 74LS161 Counter (Rev 2 works fine with a 74HC161)

You might also need a programmer for the ROMs - I suggest you check out my Relatively Universal ROM Programmer (Arduino Shield) for the cheapest one on the market.
