Original Texas Instruments BQ24090DGQT (DGQ package with PowerPAD) is a linear charge management IC for single-cell Li-Ion and Li-Polymer batteries. It features a precise 4.20 V regulation voltage, programmable charge current up to 1 A, NTC thermistor input for temperature monitoring, and integrated input overvoltage protection up to 30 V. The package features an exposed thermal PowerPAD on the bottom that should be soldered to a PCB copper ground plane for proper heat dissipation.
