Original Vishay Telefunken TZMC2V7-GS18 is a 500 mW surface-mount Zener diode in a cylindrical MiniMELF / SOD-80 (DO-213AA) glass package. The datasheet for the TZMC series specifies a 2.7 V nominal Zener voltage (range 2.5–2.9 V at test current IZ = 5 mA), 500 mW maximum power dissipation (Ptot), and low dynamic impedance. It is functionally equivalent to standard industry type BZV55-C2V7. A colored band on the glass body marks the cathode.
