The Texas Instruments TL040CN is a vintage linear IC in a 16-pin plastic DIP. Component catalogues list it as a video/signal amplifier for a supply of about 10.8–13.2 V. We have not yet located an official TI datasheet, so check the function and pinout against your circuit diagram before use.
Condition: new old stock (NOS), unused and untested. The photo shows a chip from this lot; only the background was cleaned to white, preserving the marking and leads.
