Original AVX / KYOCERA AVX 70-9296-001-123-006 (9296 Series) is a compact single-position surface-mount (SMT/SMD) discrete wire-to-board contact featuring a dual-beam "Poke-Home" spring mechanism. Stripped solid or stranded wires (18 to 26 AWG) are simply pushed directly into the contact—no wire crimping, special tooling, or hand soldering required. The dual-beam phosphor bronze contact provides high retention force and low contact resistance.
Rated for up to 300 V and high current carrying capability (15 A for 18 AWG, 14 A for 20 AWG, 10 A for 22 AWG, 9 A for 24 AWG, 7 A for 26 AWG). Perfect for LED lighting, power supplies, sensors, and industrial embedded boards.
