The Analog Devices AD594AQ is an amplifier for type J thermocouples with built-in cold-junction compensation and a thermocouple failure alarm. Nominal output is 10 mV/°C; thermocouple nonlinearity and the datasheet connection requirements matter for precision measurements. The AQ version is a 14-pin ceramic DIP (CerDIP), not the type-K AD595 variant.
Condition: new old stock (NOS), unused and untested. Function and calibration have not been verified. The photo shows a chip from this lot; only the background was cleaned to white, preserving the marking and leads.
