The Motorola MC14543BCP is a CMOS BCD-to-7-segment latch/decoder/driver intended primarily for liquid-crystal displays (LCDs), in a 16-pin plastic DIP. It combines a 4-bit latch, decoder and segment outputs. Phase, blanking and latch-control inputs support LCD operation. The datasheet specifies a 3–18 V supply; an LCD requires a suitably AC-driven backplane.
Condition: new old stock (NOS), unused and untested. The photo shows an IC from this lot.
