The Motorola MC14583BCP is a dual CMOS Schmitt trigger in a 16-pin plastic DIP. Its two trigger thresholds can be adjusted with external resistors; it also has a common three-state control and an internal XOR output for uses including line receivers. Supply range: 3–18 V. Check the datasheet pinout; it is not a pin-compatible 4584 hex inverter.
Condition: new old stock (NOS), unused and untested. The photo shows a chip from this lot; only the photo background was cleaned to white.
