Texas Instruments SN75176BP combines a differential line driver and receiver for half-duplex RS-422/RS-485 communication. It uses a single 5 V supply and comes in an 8-pin plastic DIP. The photo shows SN75176BP and a secondary code that appears to read 939CB; the code has not been dated with certainty.
