Atmel AT27C512R-55PC is a 512 Kbit (64K x 8) CMOS EPROM in a 28-pin plastic DIP package. The -55 marking denotes the 55 ns speed grade, P the plastic package and C the commercial temperature range. These chips are new old stock with date code 0309 (2003) and have never been used.
Programming: This chip can be programmed with the Relatively Universal ROM Programmer (RURP) and is supported by the Firestarter software. Select the chip profile that matches this exact part and its datasheet programming voltage.
Note: The plastic package has no window, so this is a one-time programmable (OTP) part and cannot be erased with UV light. It fits sockets for the standard 27C512/27512 pinout and suits a finished ROM image or a final firmware release.
Per the Atmel datasheet it is programmed with VCC at 6.5 V and 13.0 V on OE/VPP (pin 22) using the rapid programming algorithm; it reads at 5 V. Select an AT27C512R profile in your programmer.
